Minnesota Wild Animal Management | Raccoon Removal

Raccoons are definitely the number one invader of homes and buildings. Raccoons are nocturnal, typically sleeping during the day and becoming active at night. This prevents many people from witnessing raccoons’ disruptive behaviors. These animals can knock over garbage cans, tear up your lawn, nest in your chimney, attics, or under your deck, and also ruin gardens.

Like other animals, wild animals can get diseases. Also the feces may carry parasites that can be transferred to humans and pets, sanitation is a must!

Raccoons do not construct their own dens but will use abandoned dens, hollow trees, crawl spaces, storm drains, attics, and chimneys. Raccoons have been known to tear through a shingled roof to establish a den in an attic. Raccoons usually need only a 4- to 6-inch diameter hole to enter. Smaller openings are often enlarged. Raccoons are very strong and have tremendous dexterity in their front paws. Despite their size, raccoons are exceptional climbers, able to scale trees, chimneys, and downspouts.

Raccoons are omnivores, enjoying a diet ranging from eggs, carrion, food scraps, corn, crayfish, bird seed, worms, amphibians, pet food and more. While extremely harsh weather will cause them to remain in their dens, raccoons do not hibernate.

If you are experiencing problems with raccoons, give your local Animal Management expert a call. Though not common, these animals can carry rabies which can be fatal to any mammal. Another problem is getting these animals out of tight areas. Sometimes their young can be in very precarious places and difficult to remove.

Calling a Minnesota Wild Animal Management Expert ensures humane and effective removal of raccoons. We can remove the animals and repair the damage to ensure they will not return.

I have used their services for several years and would (and do) refer them to anyone. They were in fact very reliable and definitely got the job done! We had a severe mole problem and after 1 season they were gone!
